WHAT WE DO

Restorative Justice

At RSCCM, our Restorative Justice program creates safe, structured spaces where all parties affected by a conflict can come together, speak honestly about what happened and how they were impacted, and collaboratively chart a path to repair, accountability and stronger relationships.

How It Works

  • A facilitator brings together those harmed and those who caused harm to explore root issues, understand impact and develop repair actions.
  • We implement restorative tools — like circles, guided conversations, focus groups and shared decision‑making — directly in school settings and youth‑focused environments.
  • Emphasis is placed on empathy, accountability and communication—not punishment.

Why It Matters

  • Students involved gain an understanding of how their actions affect others and learn lasting conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Schools benefit from improved climate, reduced suspensions and more inclusive discipline practices.
  • Everyone walks away with a voice in the process and a chance to be heard, which promotes healing and stronger communities.
